As citizens expectantly await the Bengaluru Corporation elections, while the political parties prepare their candidates and their own manifestos, we at Oorvani and Janaagraha call for citizens to prepare their own charter of expectations of the local governance.
We invite citizens from across wards in Bengaluru East city corporation to participate in and to discuss and prioritize their collective issues, goals and reforms needed to improve quality of life in neighborhoods. This manifesto would serve as a charter for the elected representatives to work using.
